My first time in Steamboat, and it definitely won’t be my last. The mountains & cool air were just what the doctor ordered. (Except for I-70 on the drive back… does that road ever flow smoothly? 😂)

Recently I came across this guy through my feed who kinda stopped me in my tracks. There was something about his voice, the guys playing the fiddle on a back porch, and his songs about West Texas that drew me in.
As the algorithms would have it 😂, I started wondering if he was coming through Dallas anytime soon and reached out. Sure enough, he was Dallas-bound that week and playing at one of my favorite old stomping grounds, Adair’s Saloon. So naturally, I had to go check him but

I don't measure a good year as a Realtor in Dallas by the number of closings.
Don't get me wrong. Closing day is always worth celebrating. But the moments that stay with me are usually the quieter ones.
It's the text from a client enjoying their new backyard. It's hearing that a family found the extra space they had been hoping for. It's reading a review and realizing it wasn't really about the house. It was about feeling informed, supported, and confident throughout the process.
That's what makes this work meaningful to me. Not the number of homes sold (although it does fire me up) but the people I get to help through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
