This one was the perfect home for my client in Richardson for a few really meaningful reasons.
First, it keeps her and her daughter in the school district they love, something that was non-negotiable and incredibly important to them. That alone is a huge win.
On top of that, in a busy market like this, we were able to secure the home under asking price and really strong seller concessions, giving her the flexibility to lock in an interest rate in the low 5’s….which truly makes sense for her in the short and long-term.

I spent 19 years in mortgage and banking as an underwriter and in Relationship Management, learning how to structure deals, manage timelines, and guide colleagues through one of the biggest decisions of their client’s lives. Landed some incredible clients - now friends, their dream home near Grapevine Lake.
Now we wait just a little longer while the leaseback wraps up… then they get the keys.
This one was a journey. Over 6+ months, we walked through a lot of homes together… and when this one came up, they knew pretty quickly - it was the one.
One of the coolest parts about working with folks who are upsizing is getting a front-row seat to their vision coming to life. From dreaming about hosting friends around a killer pool and open living space… to figuring out a unique office/flex space… to even talking through which room might one day become a nursery, it’s pretty special.
Plus, I’ve got a feeling there will be quite a few OU games over Baylor games played on that big screen… sorry, Colton. 😂
